Curse of the Birthmark
"The sort of dark, aggressive “industrial rock” I used to envision in the early/mid 80s whenever I’d read about TEST DEPT. or EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN or whatever, whom invariably let me down. C.O.T.B. did not let me down; on the contrary, this EP is full of frothing, electronics-filled no wave guitar, some absolutely thumping drumming, and enough bleeding ear tones to keep you in the isolation chamber for hours afterward." - Detailed Twang

Nothing People
"These guys are sci fi as in Chrome, Von Lmo, and Simply Saucer." - Z-Gun

"From the sci-fi, psych, proto punk bombast of the first, the Nothing People shift gears into a moodier, darker, and creepier existence. Here you get the influence of Dream Syndicate’s Karl Precoda and the later fucked up work of Scott Walker." - Midheaven.com

Moon Duo
San Francisco’s Moon Duo was formed in 2009 by Sanae Yamada and Erik Johnson (Wooden Shjips). Inspired initially by the legendary duo of John Coltrane and Rashied Ali, Moon Duo counts such variant groups as Silver Apples, Royal Trux, Moolah, Suicide, andCluster as touchstones. Utilizing primarily guitar, keyboards, percussion and vocals, the duo plays space against form to create a primordial and disorienting sonic stew. The group released two acclaimed records in 2009: the debut 12″ single, Love on the Sea, on Sick Thirst, and the Killing Time EP on Sacred Bones. Their follow-up long-player, Escape, on Woodsist, marks the fullest realization yet of the young group’s evolving sound. (bio)

Epikurs Euforie (Norway)
Epikurs Euforie is a hard born child. As infant terribles  in the Norwegian noise scene, they continue to burn bridges as soon as they were built. Leaving band members out in the cold, putting their children out into the woods for wolfs to come and eat them.

World premiere video screening of THE NEW BIG BALL (the TV game show pilot hosted by Neil Hamburger and directed by Tim & Eric!!)
“Neil Hamburger hosted the Pilot episode of a New big T.V. Game Show called "The New Big Ball" recently. The show was produced and Directed by Tim and Eric, who are the Hottest T.V. Stars in the T.V. Galaxy right now, with their Great T.V. show "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job ", which Neil once appeared on, as a salty Cab driver. That scene was a classic, by the way.

Well any way, back to this Game show, "The New Big Ball", every one who saw it, which is hardly any one, because it has never aired, has said how funny it was, and is. The problem is that if the T.V. Network didn't want it, which they didn't, and now, the show is in Limbo, and nothing may ever happen. I hope that isn't what happens, because the Reports I got about the show, said Neil was hilarious, and maybe a little Mean to the contestant. We can all hope that one day this Show makes it to T.V.” - America’s Funnyman
