Club Chuckles presents

World premiere video screening of THE NEW BIG BALL (the TV game show pilot hosted by Neil Hamburger and directed by Tim & Eric!!)
“Neil Hamburger hosted the Pilot episode of a New big T.V. Game Show called "The New Big Ball" recently. The show was produced and Directed by Tim and Eric, who are the Hottest T.V. Stars in the T.V. Galaxy right now, with their Great T.V. show "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job ", which Neil once appeared on, as a salty Cab driver. That scene was a classic, by the way.

Well any way, back to this Game show, "The New Big Ball", every one who saw it, which is hardly any one, because it has never aired, has said how funny it was, and is. The problem is that if the T.V. Network didn't want it, which they didn't, and now, the show is in Limbo, and nothing may ever happen. I hope that isn't what happens, because the Reports I got about the show, said Neil was hilarious, and maybe a little Mean to the contestant. We can all hope that one day this Show makes it to T.V.” - America’s Funnyman

Rykarda Parasol
"Goth Americana bardess Rykarda Parasol has a perfect flair for drama. Her voice is husky and imperfect, reminiscent of Nico's, but perfect just because of its ability to captivate. Parasol bites off snarls and screams, weaving each note with vividly dark images, some that you could foresee, because her tales of woe and bad deeds are as old as time itself." - The Owl Mag

Chambers
Ranging all the way from trashy math-rock to dreamy ambient pop and retro-futuristic disco, while keeping a heavy rhythmic and melodic core. With members of The Holy Kiss, Death of a Party, Red Voice Choir and The Parties.

Friday, February 19  9:30pm, $6

Airfix Kits
new band from Allan of Giant Haystacks.

Tropical Sleep
"Tropical Sleep is a new project from Dan from the Pets. The Pets have been around for a while, had one of the best LPs from last year and a whole bunch of good singles, so I guess Tropical Sleep has kind of a lot to live up to but if the couple of tracks up on myspace are any indication, it shouldn’t be a problem. The music basically picks up where the Pets left off, doing upbeatenergetic powerpop with good meaty production that is mostly clean but leaves a little dirt in there. Great stuff." - Overnight Sensation

Ingot Rot
new band from members of The Mantles and Colossal Yes.

Saturday, February 20  9:30pm, $7
Sunday, February 21  early show 5:30pm, $6 // later show 9:30pm, $7
early show with Nick Castro, Raul Rauelsson, Kacey Johansing

Nick Castro & the Young Elders

Raul Rauelsson
"In 'La Siembra, la Espera y la Cosecha', Rauelsson expands his inviting sense of melody and arrangement yet the organic construct of its songs remains based on his willingness to work with a simple, though evocative, palette of acoustic ingredients. Produced by Portland's finest Adam Selzer (M.Ward, The Decemberists, Mirah, Laura Gibson, Loch Lomond, etc.) and co-produced by Dave Depper and Raúl, the album presents a noble collection of eleven songs which grandeur resides primarily on their well captured subtle sensibility. With emotive, dynamic transitions between austere to rich, sombre to bright territories."

emcee Bart Davenport

later - Marco Enedi and Steve Adams!

Marco Eneidi
"Alto saxophonist Marco Eneidi is one of contemporary creative music's unsung heroes. He studied with Jimmy Lyons and Sonny Simmons and has played and recorded with illustrious musicians including Bill Dixon, Cecil Taylor, William Parker and Glenn Spearman." - All About Jazz

Steve Adams
of the Rova Saxaphone Quartet
